These are addictive! They can be made to anyone's taste by adjusting the amount of heat.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine cheese, butter or margarine, flour, crispy rice cereal, salt, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Mix well and form small balls out of the dough (the dough will yield approximately 55 balls). Flatten each ball of dough with your fingertips until the dough is very thin and arrange the discs on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes; or until the Cheese Crispies are golden and slightly brown around the edges. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Beat butter and cheese until blended. In another bowl, whisk flour, salt and cayenne; gradually beat into cheese mixture. Stir in Rice Krispies. If necessary, turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead 4-6 times, forming a stiff dough., Divide dough in half; shape each into a 7-in.-long roll. Wrap and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight., Preheat oven to 350°. Unwrap and cut dough crosswise into 1/4-in. slices. Place 1 in. apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. If desired, top each slice with a pecan half. Bake until edges are golden brown, 14-16 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool. To Make Ahead: Dough can be made 2 days in advance. Freeze option: Freeze wrapped logs in an airtight container. To use, unwrap frozen logs and cut into slices. Bake as directed.

- Combine cheese and butter in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed until blended. Add hot sauce and mustard. Gradually add flours, mixing until blended. Stir in cereal and pecan pieces. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet, then flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
PECAN-CHEESE CRISPIES
Steps:
- Combine cheese & butter in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended. Add hot sauce and mustard. Gradually add flours, mixing until blended. Stir in cereal. Shape dough into 1" balls . Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten with a fork; press a pecan half in center of each cracker if desired. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. To freeze: Let wafers cool completely on wire racks. Transfer to airtight containers & freeze. Thaw at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.
RICE CRISPIES' TUNA CHEESE DELUXE
1970s recipe taken from a box of Rice Crispies cereal. I was a fairly new cook back then and I always made some kind of casserole when my in-laws came to visit. They said they especially liked this crunchy tuna recipe!!

- Melt 1 tablespoon of margarine. Pour over cereal and almonds, coating well. Set aside for topping.
- In large saucepan, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of margarine. Add onion. Cook just until tender, stirring occasionally. Add soup, milk and cheese. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally, Remove from heat. Lightly stir in rice, tuna and olives.
- Spread tuna mixture evenly in greased 10x6-l/2x2" (1-1/2 quart) baking dish. Spoon cereal topping evenly over casserole. Sprinkle paprika over topping.
- Bake in 325 degree oven about 20 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

With motor running, slowly beat in flour and red pepper for 1 to 2 minutes or until well blended.Stir in cereal, nuts and chives until well blended. Roll into balls using 1 teaspoon of the mixture per ball and place on ungreased baking sheets.* Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until bottoms are golden. Cool on wire racks. Store in airtight containers in a cool place.* Crispies can be frozen on baking sheets, then stored in freezer bags until ready to bake.
