This is an adopted recipe, simple and tasty. for OAMC freeze after step 3. Thaw overnight and then cook as directed.

1 (8 ounce) bottle catalina French dressing, I use Clone Kraft's Catalina Salad Dressing
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger
1 1/2 dozen chicken wings, disjointed and tips removed (2 1/2 lbs, or your favourite chicken pieces breasts, thighs or quarters)

Steps:

  • Combine dressing, soy sauce and ginger.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Cover and marinate 6 hours or overnight.
  • Drain, reserving marinade.
  • Place wings on broiler pan.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once.
  • Brush occasionally with marinade.
  • Serve warm.

2 teaspoons canola oil
1/4 cup Catalina salad dressing
4-1/2 teaspoons onion soup mix
1 tablespoon grape jelly

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, brown chicken in oil. Transfer to a shallow baking dish coated with cooking spray. Combine the salad dressing, soup mix and jelly; pour over chicken. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a thermometer reads 170°.

1 (16 ounce) bottle kraft Catalina dressing
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets savory herb with garlic soup mix
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
4 chicken quarters

Steps:

  • Mix together the dressing and the soup mixes.
  • Place the chicken in a large zip bag.
  • Pour the dressing mix over the chicken and turn several times to coat all the pieces.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for several hours, if possible.
  • Turn several times during the marinating time.
  • Remove from bag and place the chicken, skin side up, in a greased casserole pan, spread the remaining marinade over the top.
  • Bake for 90 minutes at 350º.
  • I have also cooked this on a grill, in an aluminum pan.
  • Just as tasty!

10 ounces Catalina dressing
5 ounces texas pete hot sauce (or to desired heat level)
1 teaspoon chili powder
20 fresh chicken wings, separated at joints disposing tips
2 teaspoons paprika
garlic powder
flour (for dredging)
oil (for frying)
1 cup bleu cheese salad dressing, for dipping (or Ranch dressing)
4 celery ribs, trimmed and split lengthwise and cut in half

Steps:

  • Mix Catalina, Texas Pete, and Chili Powder into large bowl and set aside. In another large bowl toss wingettes with paprika and garlic powder.
  • Place flour in a plastic grocery bag. Add wingettes (a few at a time) to the bag, twist shut and shake or 'knead' the bottom to coat wings.
  • Shake off excess flour from wingettes, and drop wingettes into hot oil, enough to fill the pan. Do in batches. Cook about 12-15 min until done.
  • Place immediately into bowl of Dawgie Wing sauce and toss to coat. Transfer wings to a serving platter and keep warm.
  • Continue with rest of chicken. Serve with ranch dressing and celery stalks.

1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 (8 ounce) bottle Catalina dressing
1 (8 ounce) envelope onion soup mix

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Divide chicken pieces evenly between 2 (13x9-inch) baking dishes.
  • Mix cranberry sauce, dressing and soup mix. Pour evenly over chicken.

My husband makes this delicious chicken for me on special occasions. He got this recipe from his mother and I've been in love with it since the very first bite! You've got to try this recipe it's simply heavenly!

3 -4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
16 ounces Catalina dressing
8 -9 pieces bacon (cooked)
2 cups monterey jack cheese (grated)
1/4 cup green onion (chopped)

Steps:

  • In medium bowl combine chicken and Catalina dressing. Cover and let it marinate for thirty minutes.
  • While chicken marinates fully cook bacon in a skillet and set aside.
  • Remove chicken from dressing and broil in baking dish until brown on both sides.
  • After chicken has browned remove from oven and add dressing, green onions, bacon and then cheese. (In that order)
  • Cover loosely with foil. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
