It's a carrot cake in a shot!

4 1/2 oz fresh carrot juice
1 oz heavy cream
1 oz Irish cream liquor
3 oz vodka
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp cream cheese
1 Tbsp powdered sugar
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a small bowl with a wide mouth, stir together cream cheese and powdered sugar. Add chopped walnuts to a separate small wide mouthed bowl. Rim four shot glasses with the cream cheese frosting and then in the chopped walnuts.
  • Combine fresh carrot juice, heavy cream, Irish cream, vodka and cinnamon in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake several times to combine. Strain into the four rimmed shot glasses. Serve immediately.

The carrot cake shot is an utterly delicious drink for an Easter party. The recipe doesn't require any actual carrots, just common liqueurs!

Garnish: cream cheese frosting (for rimming)
Garnish: walnuts (crushed, for rimming)
1 ounce Goldschläger
1 ounce Irish cream
1 ounce coffee liqueur
1 ounce butterscotch schnapps

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Dip the rim of each shot glass in a mound of cream cheese frosting and twist it to get an even coat. Then, dip the rim into a pile of crushed walnuts. While still holding the glass upside down, shake off any excess nuts.
  • In a cocktail shaker , pour the liqueurs. Fill with ice.
  • Shake very well.
  • Strain into the prepared glasses. Serve and enjoy.

2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers Irish cream liqueur (such as Baileys®)
1 ½ (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers butterscotch schnapps
½ (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger red cinnamon schnapps

Steps:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; pour in Irish cream liqueur, butterscotch schnapps, and cinnamon schnapps. Cover the shaker and shake until frothy. Strain into a martini glass.

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs, room temperature
1-1/2 cups canola oil
2 cups finely grated carrots
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup well-drained crushed pineapple
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
6 ounces cream cheese, softened
6 tablespoons butter, softened
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional chopped nuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add the eggs, oil, carrots and vanilla; beat until combined. Stir in pineapple, coconut and nuts. , Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack., For frosting, beat cream cheese and butter in a small bowl until fluffy. Add the confectioners' sugar and vanilla; beat until smooth. Frost cake. Sprinkle with additional nuts. Store in the refrigerator.

4 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup canola oil
2 cups sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups shredded carrots
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
FROSTING:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, beat eggs, oil and sugar until smooth. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; add to egg mixture and beat well. Stir in carrots and walnuts. Pour into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. , For frosting, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla in a bowl until smooth; beat in sugar. Spread over cake. Sprinkle with nuts. Decorate as desired.

2 ounces Baileys Irish Cream
2 ounces butterscotch schnapps
2 ounces goldschlager (I have had it with Cinnamon Schnapps, Red Aftershock, or Hot Damn)

Steps:

  • Put in drink shaker, may add some ice if you wish for it to be cold. Shake up and pour into shot glass, or glasses if too much for one shot.
  • If you have no shaker put in glass one at a time starting with order listed.
  • Slam back and enjoy!
