Pillsbury Biscuits - 2 cups (460 g)
Cinnamon - 2 tablespoons (30 g)
Granulated white/brown sugar - 1 cup (215 g)
Chopped nuts - ½ cup (50 g) - optional
Dried fruits - ½ cup (50 g) - optional
Butter or Margarine - 1 cup (220 g)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven at 400℉.
  • Coat a tube pan with cooking spray or butter.
  • Melt the butter.
  • Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
  • Cut the biscuits into small pieces.
  • Dip the small pieces of dough in butter, then in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  • Put the biscuit pieces in the pan.
  • Leave the pan in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Take the monkey bread out when it has a golden-brown color.
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes then take it out of the pan.

3 (8 ounce) cans buttermilk biscuits
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Cut each biscuit in fourths with scissors.
  • Shake biscuits in bag with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Layer biscuits into greased tube pan.
  • Sprinkle with nuts.
  • Melt margarine and brown sugar and boil 1 minute.
  • Pour over biscuits.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before removing from pan.
  • To serve, just pinch off pieces and eat with fingers.

3 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
½ cup margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup raisins

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 or 10 inch tube/Bundt® pan.
  • Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. Arrange pieces in the bottom of the prepared pan. Continue until all biscuits are coated and placed in pan. If using nuts and raisins, arrange them in and among the biscuit pieces as you go along.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the margarine with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the biscuits.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Do not cut! The bread just pulls apart.
