EASY CHOCOLATE COOKIE BARS WITH CAKE MIX
These cookie bars are the easiest, most delicious dessert or snack to make with cake mix. I always get rave reviews when I make these!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a bowl using an electric mixer until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside 1/3 of the mixture; press remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
- Combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and margarine in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring and checking for completion, about 2 minutes. Pour evenly over the crust. Drop teaspoonfuls of the reserved crust mixture on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Spread in a greased 9x13 glass dish.
- Use wet hands to spread this out evenly, batter will be THICK!
- Bake at 350 for 20 minute.
- Allow pan tyo cool on top of stove for 1 hour.
- Cut with a pizza cutter into squares.
- Great served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, but this is one bar that can stand on its own.
CAKE MIX COOKIE BARS
These Cookie Bars are the perfect blend of soft and crunchy. The chocolatey peanut butter middle tastes great mixed with the white cake mix base!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together the cake mix, canola oil and eggs - then separate batter into halves. Press one half of the batter into the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.
- In a small, microwaveable bowl, mix together the butter, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Microwave for 30 seconds, then remove and stir. Keep microwaving and stirring in 15 second intervals until the mixture is completely smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk to the chocolate chip mixture and stir until completely combined, then pour it over the crust in the 9x13 pan.
- Take the second half of the cake mix batter, and drop it in spoonfuls over top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes (until the top starts to turn a golden brown).
- Allow to cool completely before serving.

MAGIC COOKIE BARS - CAKE MIX VERSION
My mom got this recipe off a cake mix box and we have been making it for years. It is very adaptable, incredibly easy, and very rich.

- Preheat oven to 325.
- Place cake mix in a medium bowl, cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender. The mixture will remain crumbly.
- Press mixture into an ungreased 10 X 15 pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, and coconut over the base.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the whole pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool completely and cut into bars. (I like to cut them into large triangles).
- Note: I have used other cake mix flavors for the base, such as yellow and butter, and they turned out well.

- 1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9 x13 cake pan.
- 2. In a medium bowl cream eggs, butter, and caramel flavoring.
- 3. Sift cake mix into a large bowl.
- 4. Pour cake mix over butter and eggs.
- 5. Stir to moisten. (This will be very thick.)
- 6. Next stir in candy and nuts.
- 7. Spread over greased cake pan evenly.
- 8. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- 9. While mixture is baking melt caramels in a pan over boiling water. You may need to add a little cream or butter to thin caramel.
- 10. Stir until caramels are melted and it's thin enough to spread.
- 11. Cover and keep just warm enough to spread.
- 12. Remove cake from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
- 13. Then pour warm caramel over the top of the cake and spread evenly. Allow to cool completely.
- 14. When the cake is cool and caramel is set, spread frosting over the top of the caramel.
- 15. Decorate as desired or leave plain. Cut into 24 equal pieces.

Stir in chocolate chips & 1/2 cup M&Ms or just the chocolate chips if not using M&Ms. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining M&Ms over top if using them. Bake 24 to 28 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. (24 minutes was perfect for me)
