This is one of my Grandmothers recipes. The copy I have is in her hand writing. The soup makes the burger really juicy and tender. Everyone asks for the recipe. I hope everyone here enjoys as much as we have!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb ground chuck
2 Tbsp onions chopped
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 c dried bread crumbs
1/4 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
TOPPING
1 can(s) green beans (cut) i use french cut
3/4 can(s) cream of mushroom soup

Steps:

  • 1. Mix first 8 ingredients together and form into 4-5 inch patties. Hollow the patties out into cups cups(like potatoes that you want to put gravy on).
  • 2. Open the green beans and heat them for 5 min. drain and combine it with 3/4 can of cream of mushroom soup and fill the cups.
  • 3. Bake 45 min. at 350 degrees.

1 lb ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 can cut green beans
1 can French's French fried onions

Steps:

  • Mix 1/4 C soup, raw beef, bread crumbs, onions, egg, salt& pepper.
  • Divide into 4 mounds on wax paper.
  • Flatten each mound into a 5 inch circle.
  • Turn up edges of each patty to make a 1/2 inch rim.
  • Place in shallow baking dish.
  • Combine rest of soup, green beans and onions.
  • Spoon mixture into burger cups.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
