The best way to spread holiday cheer is hosting a movie night with this festive mix near. Vanilla coated Chex™ clusters, mini wafers, pretzels and chocolate candies make up this sweet and salty treat.

Number Of Ingredients 7

8 cups Rice Chex™ or Corn Chex™ cereal
2 1/2 cups white vanilla baking chips (from two 12-oz bags)
2 tablespoons holiday candy sprinkles
1 1/2 cups mini vanilla wafer cookies
1 cup tree-shaped pretzels
2 tablespoons holiday nonpareils
1 cup holiday almond or peanut chocolate candies

Steps:

  • Line 2 large rimmed pans with waxed paper. In large bowl, add cereal.
  • In medium microwavable bowl, microwave 2 cups of the baking chips uncovered on High 45 to 60 seconds, stirring after 45 seconds, until chips are starting to melt. Continue heating in 15-second increments, until chips are melted and smooth. Pour over cereal; mix to thoroughly coat. Spread mixture in one of the pans; top with sprinkles. Cool 20 to 30 minutes or until set.
  • Meanwhile, spread cookies and pretzels in single layer, right side up, in remaining pan. In same microwavable bowl, microwave remaining 1/2 cup baking chips uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds, until chips are melted and smooth. Transfer melted chips to small resealable food-storage plastic bag, and cut small corner off one end of bag. Drizzle onto cookies and pretzels; sprinkle with nonpareils. Cool 20 to 30 minutes or until set.
  • Break cereal mixture into bite-size pieces; transfer to large serving bowl. Carefully break apart pretzels and cookies, if necessary. Add to bowl; stir in candies.

This sweet mix is full of Buddy's favorite flavor...maple syrup! Maple-sweetened Chex™ cereal, Cinnamon Chex™ cereal, mini cookies and pretzels are topped with his famous "spaghetti"-made with white chocolate noodles, chocolate candies and marshmallows.

4 cups Rice Chex™ or Corn Chex™ cereal
1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 1/2 cups mini vanilla wafer cookies
1 cup mini pretzel twists
2/3 cup white vanilla baking chips
2 tablespoons festive trees or other holiday sprinkles (red, white and green)
2 cups Cinnamon Chex™ cereal
1 cup salted roasted almonds
1/4 cup miniature marshmallows
2 tablespoons candy-coated chocolate candies (red and green)
2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Line 2 large rimmed pans with waxed paper.
  • In large microwavable bowl, add cereal. In small bowl, mix syrup and melted butter. Pour over cereal in bowl; toss to coat evenly. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture is well coated and thoroughly glazed. Spread mixture in one of the pans to cool.
  • Spread cookies and pretzels in single layer, right side up, in remaining pan. In small microwavable bowl, microwave 1/3 cup of the vanilla baking chips uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds, until melted and smooth. Transfer melted chips to small resealable food-storage plastic bag; cut small corner from one end of bag. Drizzle on top of cookies and pretzels. Top with sprinkles; cool 20 to 30 minutes or until drizzle is set. Carefully break apart pretzels and cookies, if necessary.
  • In oval or round serving dish with sides, mix cereals, cookies, pretzels and almonds.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave remaining 1/3 cup vanilla baking chips uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds, until chips are melted and smooth. Transfer melted chips to small resealable food-storage plastic bag; cut small corner from one end of bag. Drizzle on top of snack mix to look like a spaghetti pile. Top with marshmallows and candies.
  • In another small microwavable bowl, microwave milk chocolate chips uncovered on High 15 to 30 seconds, stirring after 15 seconds, until chips are melted and smooth. Transfer melted chips to small resealable food-storage plastic bag; cut small corner from one end of bag. Drizzle on top of candies, marshmallows and snack mix to look like chocolate syrup. Top with additional sprinkles, if desired. Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes or until drizzle is set. To serve, break into pieces.

1 package (11-1/2 ounces) milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup crushed ramen noodles, divided (seasoning packet discarded)
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows, divided
1/3 cup M&M's minis, divided
2 tablespoons sprinkles, divided

Steps:

  • Line a 15x10x1-in. pan with parchment; set aside., In a double boiler or metal bowl over hot water, melt chocolate chips until 2/3 are melted. Remove from heat; stir until smooth. Stir in half the ramen, 1/4 cup marshmallows, 3 tablespoons M&M's and 1 tablespoon sprinkles. Spread into prepared pan; top with remaining ingredients (pan will not be full). Refrigerate until firm, 15-20 minutes. Break or cut into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
