These Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction & Cranberries make a simple and elegant side dish that both kids and adults love!

3 pounds Brussels sprouts
1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup dried cranberries

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut in half. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil. Pour them on two baking sheets and roast for 25-30 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
  • Meanwhile, combine the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until glaze is thick and syrupy, about 20 minutes.
  • Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the roasted sprouts. Sprinkle with dried cranberries and serve immediately.

This is the third recipe from my Christmas special on Food Network, and as a Christmas side dish, it's absolutely to die for.

3 lb. Brussels Sprouts
1/2 c. Olive Oil
Salt And Pepper
1 c. Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 c. Sugar
1 c. Dried Cranberries

Steps:

  • Trim/clean Brussels sprouts, then cut them in half if desired (or you can leave them whole). Arrange on two baking sheets and toss with olive oil. Sprinkle with plenty of salt and pepper and roast at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, or until brown. Combine balsamic vinegar and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and reduce until very thick, about 15 to 20 minutes.Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the roasted sprouts, then sprinkle on dried cranberries. Toss and serve immediately.

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
