ORIGINAL IRISH COFFEE
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Place the brown sugar into a warm Irish coffee glass , mug, or other heatproof glass.
- Add the coffee and Irish whiskey.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Float the lightly whipped heavy cream on top by slowly pouring it over the back of a spoon.
- Do not stir. Instead, drink the Irish coffee through the cream. Enjoy.

Steps:
- 1. Dip the rim of an Irish coffee cup 1/4 inch deep in a shallow saucer of Grand Marnier liqueur.
- 2. Dip the rim into a saucer of granulated sugar.
- 3. Caramelize the sugar on the rim of the glass over an open flame.
- 4. Add the superfine sugar to a mug.
- 5. Add the Irish whiskey.
- 6. Fill to 1/2 inch of the top with freshly brewed coffee.
- 7. Top with whipped cream.
- 8. Drizzle Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur over the whipped cream.
- 9. Sprinkle shaved Ghirardelli chocolate over the whipped cream.
- 10. Serve with a rolled wafer cookie and a sip stick.
