THE BEST EVER FUDGE BROWNIES
These brownies are so rich and fudgy and so simple to make. I got the recipe from a recipe group, and have never bought a mix again!

Steps:
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine on low heat.
- Remove from heat and in same pan, stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla, stir well.
- Add in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Stir in chips and nuts if desired.
- Bake at 350 for approx 25-30 minutes, depending on your oven.
- Do not over-bake.

- Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 in. pan. In a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl or a saucepan over low heat, melt butter, then add sugar and stir to combine. Return mixture to heat (or microwave) briefly until hot but not bubbling. It'll become shiny and sugar will dissolve as you stir. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Stir in the cocoa, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. Add the eggs, beating until smooth; then add the flour and chips, beating until well combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the brownies for 28-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out dry. The brownies should feel set both on the edges, and in the center. Remove from the oven, and after 5 minutes loosen the edges with a table knife. Cool completely before cutting and serving.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x9 pan. In a saucepan set over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the sugar and stir to combine. Mix until it is hot but not bubbling. It will become shiny looking as you stir it. Heat the butter and sugar a second time to dissolve more of the sugar. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Stir in the cocoa, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. Add the eggs, beating till smooth; then add the flour and chips, beating till well combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the brownise for 25-30 minutes, until a cake tester comes out dry. The brownies should feel set on the edges and in the center. Reomve from oven to cool for 5 minutes, then loosen the edges with a table knife. Cool completely, cut and serve.
