MAGIC COOKIE BARS - CAKE MIX VERSION
My mom got this recipe off a cake mix box and we have been making it for years. It is very adaptable, incredibly easy, and very rich.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Place cake mix in a medium bowl, cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender. The mixture will remain crumbly.
- Press mixture into an ungreased 10 X 15 pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, nuts, and coconut over the base.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the whole pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool completely and cut into bars. (I like to cut them into large triangles).
- Note: I have used other cake mix flavors for the base, such as yellow and butter, and they turned out well.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Combine cake mix, butter, brown sugar, and eggs in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally, until well mixed. Stir in peanuts and toffee; spread into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and coconut on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and coat with frosting. Cut into squares.

CAKE MIX COOKIE BARS
These Cookie Bars are the perfect blend of soft and crunchy. The chocolatey peanut butter middle tastes great mixed with the white cake mix base!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together the cake mix, canola oil and eggs - then separate batter into halves. Press one half of the batter into the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.
- In a small, microwaveable bowl, mix together the butter, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Microwave for 30 seconds, then remove and stir. Keep microwaving and stirring in 15 second intervals until the mixture is completely smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk to the chocolate chip mixture and stir until completely combined, then pour it over the crust in the 9x13 pan.
- Take the second half of the cake mix batter, and drop it in spoonfuls over top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes (until the top starts to turn a golden brown).
- Allow to cool completely before serving.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg, milk and oil (mixture will be thick). Stir in baking chips and jimmies. - Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs and oil. Press two-thirds of the mixture into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Set remaining cake mixture aside. , In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk, chocolate chips and butter. Microwave, uncovered, until chips and butter are melted; stir until smooth. Pour over crust., Drop teaspoonfuls of remaining cake mixture over top. Bake until lightly browned, 20-25 minutes. Cool before cutting.
