THE BEST BAKED VIDALIA ONION DIP!
This is always a huge hit at my get togethers and everyone wants the recipe for it --- this takes only minutes to make and you may adjust the garlic amount as you wish, I would start with the 2 teaspoons for a milder garlic flavor or use garlic powder in place of fresh garlic --- this recipe can easily be doubled, you will *LOVE* this! :)

Steps:
- 1. Saute onions and garlic in butter until soft Mix remaining ingredients together, then add sauteed onions and garlic. Spray or lightly grease a glass baking dish. (this bakes better in glass) Bake at 375 for 30-40 min I serve it with little garlic toasts. Slice one baguette into thin toasts, brush with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with garlic powder and toast on a baking sheet under a low broiler. Keep a very close eye on this, they will burn fast!!

BAKED VIDALIA DIP
This is Vidalia season here in the South, but Walla Walla or Texas Sweet onions will do. Just don't use regular yellow onions, they aren't sweet enough. I serve with buttery round crackers.
