1 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup crabmeat
1 cup baby shrimp
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
pepper
soft breadcrumbs
butter
paprika
lemon wedge

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Flake crab meat, removing bits of membrane.
  • Combine crab meat, shrimp, green pepper, onion, celery and mayonnaise.
  • Add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Place in individual; shells or in shallow baking dish like a pie plate.
  • Top with bread crumbs, dot with butter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and serve with lemon wedges.

1 (10- to 12-ounce) package frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 (6 1/2-ounce) can crabmeat
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Steps:

  • Drop shrimp into boiling salted water; cook for 1 minute after water returns to boil, or until pink. If shrimp are large, cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Combine with crab, celery, green pepper, and onion. Mix mayonnaise with Worcestershire sauce and salt; fold in. Spread in buttered 2-quart baking dish, or into 6 individual casseroles. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Blend potato chips with paprika; sprinkle over mixture. Dot with butter; bake for 10 minutes or until potato chips are brown.
