BAKED BANANAS IN ORANGE GLAZE
When, as a diabetic, your sugar supply is removed from life, you start mourning. I turned to fruit to ease my aching sweet tooth. This is one of the recipes I used to treat myself to something that is rich and a bit more sweet than I really should eat. But it's SOOO good!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut each banana in half lengthwise and place cut side down in a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
- Brush with the butter.
- Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Combine the orange juice, brown sugar, and orange peel and pour over bananas.
- Bake 10 minutes longer.
- Serve with ice cream for a special treat!

- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Peel the bananas and slice in half lengthwise. Lay the pieces into a buttered 9x13x2-inch ovenproof dish. Pour the lime juice and rum evenly over the bananas. Sprinkle on the cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Dot on the butter, if using, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot, topped with a tablespoon of fresh cream or ice cream.

- 1. Pre heat oven to 350 Bake, In a Baking Dish, put the Orange Juice and Zest of Orange, stir in the cinnamon - place the bananas with cut sides down in the juice . Bake for 12 Minutes .
- 2. Take Bananas out of oven and save Juice in Pan, Place Bananas on a serving platter - Put the sugar in te hot juice in the pan and also add the Grand Marnier at this time if using, Stir to combine with the juice and pour over Bananas . Serve Immediatly
