12 slices bacon
1 teaspoon gingerroot
1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumb
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 lbs ground turkey

Steps:

  • Set oven control to broil and/or 550 degrees.
  • Cook bacon until limp; cool.
  • Mix turkey, bread crumbs, worcestershire sauce and garlic salt.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Shape into 6 1/2" inch thick patties.
  • Crisscross 2 slices bacon on each patty, tucking ends under; secure with wooden picks.
  • Broil with tops about 4" from heat until turkey springs back when touched and is no longer pink, about 4 minutes on each side.
  • You can also grill these on a BBQ on medium heat until turkey is cooked through.

Bacon adds so much flavor to these turkey burgers. The patty itself is very moist and well seasoned. Wrapping them with bacon makes them look like a yummy present. These bacon wrapped turkey burgers are so good, your family will fight over the last one. They're hearty and fantastic.

12 slice bacon
1 pkg ground turkey
1/2 c dry bread crumbs
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic salt
slices of cheese, optional
6 hamburger buns

Steps:

  • 1. Cook bacon until limp; cool.
  • 2. Mix turkey, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt.
  • 3. Add a little salt and pepper.
  • 4. Shape into 6 - 1/2" inch thick patties.
  • 5. Crisscross 2 slices of bacon on each patty. Tuck ends under; secure with wooden picks.
  • 6. Barbeque or broil.
  • 7. A slice of cheese can be added in the last minute of cooking. Serve on buns.
