1-1/2 pounds ground turkey
1 large red onion, finely chopped
12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chopped dill pickle
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook and crumble turkey with onion over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes. Stir in bacon, tomatoes, ketchup, pickle and mustard; heat through., Stir in cheese until melted. Spoon meat mixture onto bun bottoms. Replace tops.

Quick, easy, ooey, gooey, messy, tasty and kid friendly cheese burgers in Sloppy Joe form!

Number Of Ingredients 12

6 ounces bacon, sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup ketchup (or BBQ sauce)
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper (or steak seasoning) to taste
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
4 buns

Steps:

  • Cook the bacon in skillet before setting aside on paper towels and draining off most of the bacon grease from the pan.
  • Add the beef and onions and cook over medium-high heat breaking the beef up as you cook it and drain any excess grease from the pan.
  • Add the garlic and cook for a minute.
  • Add the mixture of the corn starch and broth, followed by the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning and cook until the sauce thickens a bit, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the bacon and cheese and cook until the cheese melts.
  • Divide the filling between the buns and enjoy!

1 medium onion, chopped finely
3 celery ribs, finely chopped
2 red bell peppers, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup worcestershire
salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 hamburger buns, toasted

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic and cook until the veggies are softened about 7 minutes. Push to one side of the skillet. Increase the heat to high and add the ground beef and cook for about 7 minutes, breaking up clumps, until cooked through. Add ketchup worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes more till thickened. Serve on your toasted buns.

1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
4 hamburger buns, toasted

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic.
  • Cook until vegetables are softened, about 7 minutes; push to side of the skillet, add ground beef and cook, stirring to break up clumps, until cooked through, about 7 minutes.
  • Stir in the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes more.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
