Burger Bowls are a low carb way enjoy that juicy burger, it's so full of flavor you won't even realize your missing the bun! A lean ground beef burger bowl is stuffed with bacon, melted cheese, cream cheese and jalapenos and baked to perfection.

2 lbs extra lean ground beef
2 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 jalapenos
6 slices bacon (cooked)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix together ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil. Divide meat into 6 balls. Use a clean jar or can to help form the ground beef into a bowl shape.
  • Cut off the jalapeno pepper stem. Keep the jalapeno pepper membrane and seeds, or remove for a less spicy burger.
  • Mix the cream cheese, jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Divide into 6 portions and fill each burger bowl with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Add a piece of foil on top to make a foil tent (foil loosely covering) and bake for 30 minutes. Before serving garnish with additional cheddar cheese, bacon or jalapenos if desired.

1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 -4 medium jalapenos
6 slice cooked bacon (or use salad bacon pieces)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Mix together ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • 3. Line a baking sheet with foil. Divide meat into 6 balls. Form the ground beef into a bowl shape.
  • 4. Cut jalapeno into pieces. Mix the cream cheese, jalapenos, bacon and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Divide into 6 portions and fill each burger bowl with the cream cheese mixture. (save some Bacon and Jalapenos if you desire to top this off after baking)
  • 5. Bake for 30 minutes. Before serving top with additional 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, bacon or jalapenos (optional).

4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup shredded cheddar
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup diced jalapenos
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl combine all the cheese, diced jalapenos, bacon with salt and pepper using a fork until incorporated.
  • form burger patties to about ¼ thick rounds and place 2 tbsp of the jalapeno mixture on top of one patty and then place another patty on top and pinch down the sides to seal.
  • Sprinkle with chili powder and grill to your preferred doneness. Burgers are thick so roughly 5 minutes per side at 400°F

1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 pounds ground beef
8 hamburger buns, split
Lettuce leaves and tomato slices, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cheese, bacon and soup mix. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties., Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. I used to saute onions and fresh jalapenos to top our grilled cheeseburgers. Not any more! I mix the chopped fresh jalapenos, onions and shredded cheddar right into the hamburger patties. Oh, my. To complete the flavor attack you could add slices of crispy bacon to the pile....your choice!
