3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 pounds ground pork
8 pieces unsweetened sliced pineapple
8 bacon strips
8 sesame seed hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble pork over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties. Top each with a pineapple slice; wrap with a bacon strip. , Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°. Serve on buns.

1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/3 cup finely chopped green onions
1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
2 pounds ground pork
SAUCE:
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup orange marmalade
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
8 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Crumble pork over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. , Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine the pineapple, ketchup, vinegar, marmalade and mustard. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until marmalade is melted. Remove from the heat; set aside., Grill patties, covered, over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until a thermometer reads 160°. Spoon 1 tablespoon of sauce onto each burger during the last 2 minutes of grilling. Serve on buns with remaining sauce.

2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 small red pepper, finely chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons sweet ginger and chili paste
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
4 hamburger buns, toasted on the grill plate
cucumber, slices
grated carrot
shredded lettuce
honey mustard mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Combine the mince, garlic, onion, pepper, egg, sauce and breadcrumbs in a bowl.
  • Chopping the vegetables finely is easier in a food processor if you have one.
  • Mix together well (use your hands).
  • Divide mixture into 4 patties.
  • Cook on a heated, oiled grill plate until browned on both sides and cooked through.

  • Light a grill or preheat a grill pan. In a large bowl, mix the pork with the scallions, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, 1 teaspoons of kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Form the meat into two 3/4-inch thick patties.

½ cup rice wine vinegar
Salt to taste
1 lb ground pork
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced
2 scallions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp sriracha
4 sesame-seed buns, lightly toasted
¼ cup hoisin sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Make the pickles by combining the cucumber, vinegar, and a few pinches of salt in a bowl or jar. Set aside. 2. Preheat the grill over medium heat. Combine the pork, garlic, ginger, and scallions. Gently shape into patties, season with salt, and grill for about 5 minutes on each side. 3. Combine the mayonnaise and sriracha and spread on the bottom buns. Spread the top buns with hoisin and then sandwich the two halves around the burger with pickles.
