1 egg
1 tablespoon water
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
1 egg yolk
1 small red pepper, thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
16 asparagus spears, trimmed to 4 inches-long
8 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup swanson chicken stock
