Pork chops are a popular dish that can be cooked in a variety of ways. One of the most delicious ways to cook pork chops is to make them with an apple moonshine glazed sauce. The tangy and sweet flavor of the apple glaze compliments the rich flavors of the pork chops perfectly. In this article, we will go over valuable tips for making apple moonshine glazed pork chops recipes.

Tip 1: Choose the Right Pork Chops

When making apple moonshine glazed pork chops recipes, the first and most important tip is to choose the right pork chops. The best pork chops for this recipe are bone-in pork chops that are 1-1.5 inches thick. This thickness will prevent the pork chops from drying out during the cooking process.
Tip 1.1: Brine the Pork Chops
For extra flavor and juiciness, you can brine the pork chops before cooking. A simple brine consists of 1 cup of water, 1/4 cup of salt, and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Brine the pork chops for at least an hour in the refrigerator before cooking.

Tip 2: Use Quality Ingredients

To achieve the best flavor when making apple moonshine glazed pork chops, it is important to use high-quality ingredients. Choose apples that are firm and ripe, and use local and organic ingredients when possible. Also, make sure that your moonshine is of good quality and has a high alcohol content.
Tip 2.1: Use Real Maple Syrup
Instead of using store-bought pancake syrup, use real maple syrup. Not only does maple syrup add a delicious and authentic flavor to the apple moonshine glaze, but it is also a healthier alternative to artificially flavored syrups.

Tip 3: Use the Right Cooking Method

When making apple moonshine glazed pork chops, the cooking method is just as important as the ingredients used. Pan-frying is the recommended method of cooking for these pork chops as it allows the glaze to caramelize and the pork to cook evenly. However, you can also grill or bake them in the oven.
Tip 3.1: Preheat Your Pan
To ensure that your pork chops cook evenly, preheat your pan over medium-high heat for a few minutes before adding the pork chops. This will help to seal in the juices and prevent the pork chops from sticking to the pan.

Tip 4: Let the Pork Rest

Once the pork chops are cooked, it is important to let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the pork chops, resulting in a juicy and flavorful dish.
Tip 4.1: Tent the Pork Chops
To keep the pork chops warm while they rest, tent them with aluminum foil. This will also help to keep them moist and prevent them from drying out.

Tip 5: Serve with the Right Sides

To complete the apple moonshine glazed pork chops meal, it is important to serve them with the right sides. These pork chops go well with a variety of sides such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
Tip 5.1: Roast the Apples
To add an extra layer of flavor, roast some thinly sliced apples alongside the pork chops. This will infuse the pork chops with even more apple flavor and add a pop of color to your dish.

Conclusion

Apple moonshine glazed pork chops are a delicious and flavorful dish that is perfect for any occasion. By following these valuable tips, you can make perfectly cooked and delicious pork chops every time. Remember to choose the right pork chops, use quality ingredients, use the right cooking method, let the pork rest, and serve the dish with the right sides. With these tips in mind, you can impress your family and friends with your cooking skills and enjoy a delicious meal.
