CINNAMON APPLE WINE COOLER

Cinnamon Apple Wine Cooler image

Finding this recipe @ Cooks.com was an accident, but I'm convinced it was fated. I orig went looking for Club Soda recipes. I don't buy it, but guests left me a nearly full 2 lt bottle & I do so hate wasting anything. Those who know me well know I'm very fond of wine coolers, already have 2 recipes entered for them & am also esp fond of using red cinnamon candies. I drink only 1 kind of tea - *Apple and Cinnamon Twist Tea* by London Fruit & Herb Co. I add approx 6-8 cinnamon candies for ea cup I brew & did that for this recipe. Altho not a part of the recipe, I liked it & you can choose for yourself whether to try it that way. :-) (Cooking time is the 5 min brew time & cooling time for the tea mixture is not included). *Enjoy* !

Choose the right type of apple
The first step to making a great apple cooler is choosing the right type of apples. The type of apple you choose will determine the taste, texture, and color of your cooler. Tart apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp are perfect for cold apple coolers as they have a crisp texture and a sour note that adds a refreshing taste to the cooler. For warm apple coolers, sweet apples such as Red Delicious or Gala are recommended as they have a softer texture and sweeter taste that blends well with spices.
Include flavors and spices
When making an apple cooler recipe, you can add a range of flavors and spices to the mix. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves are popular spices to include in apple coolers. They add warmth, depth, and richness to the flavor. You can also add vanilla extract or almond extract for a sweet, nutty flavor. For an adult version, you can add spirits like rum or brandy to give your apple cooler a little kick.

Serve apple coolers in the right glass
The glassware you use when serving your apple cooler can affect the presentation and overall enjoyment of the drink. A tall, narrow glass is recommended for cold apple coolers as it showcases the color and layers of the drink. For warm apple coolers, a mug or a glass with a handle is recommended as it keeps the drink warm and makes it easy to hold.
