Selecting the Ingredients

The key to making a delicious antipasto French bread pizza is to use high-quality ingredients. Here are some tips for selecting the best ingredients for your pizza:
Cheese
The type of cheese you choose can make a big difference in the taste of your pizza. We recommend using mozzarella cheese for its mild flavor and creamy texture. For a more intense flavor, you can also try using provolone or fontina cheese.
Bread
When making French bread pizzas, it's important to choose bread that is sturdy enough to hold up to the toppings. We recommend using a French baguette, which has a crispy crust and a chewy interior.
Antipasto ingredients
The toppings are what make this pizza unique. We suggest using a mix of olives, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, and salami. You can also add other antipasto ingredients like marinated mushrooms or pepperoncini peppers.

Preparing the Pizza

Now that you've selected your ingredients, it's time to prepare the pizza. Here are some tips to help you make the perfect antipasto French bread pizza:
Slice the bread
Start by slicing your French baguette in half lengthwise. This will create two pieces that are perfect for making individual pizzas.
Brush with olive oil
Brush each piece of bread with olive oil. This will help to keep the bread from becoming too soggy when the toppings are added.
Add the cheese
Sprinkle the cheese evenly over each piece of bread. Be sure to leave some space around the edges for the toppings.
Add the antipasto toppings
Now it's time to add the antipasto toppings. Arrange them evenly over each piece of bread, making sure to cover all of the cheese.
Bake in the oven
Bake the pizzas on a baking sheet or pizza stone in a 400-degree oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.

Variations

One of the best things about antipasto French bread pizzas is how easy it is to customize them to your liking. Here are a few variations to help you mix things up:
Vegetarian version
For a vegetarian version of this pizza, simply omit the salami and replace it with sliced mushrooms or diced zucchini.

Spicy version
If you like a little heat, add sliced jalapenos, red pepper flakes, or hot sauce to the toppings.

Serving the Pizza

Once your pizza is ready, it's time to serve it up. Here are some tips to help you present your pizza in the best possible way:
Cut into pieces
Use a sharp knife to cut each piece of pizza into smaller pieces, making it easier to serve and eat.
