EASY CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE GLAZE
Simple to make with only three ingredients with a variety of uses. Great to use over Bundt cake because it sets up nicely. The extra sauce may be refrigerated and reheated to serve over ice cream or your favorite dessert. I came up with this once when I didn't have any confectioner's sugar to make a glaze for a Bundt cake.

Steps:
- Prepare your cake pan. Coat with shortening and flour. I use a very old aluminum "tube" pan. The hole is smaller than the newer ones, but use pan of your choice.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat butter and sugar at high speed until soft and smooth. (I use a heavy-duty Kitchen Aid mixer).
- Add condensed milk and beat until well blended.
- Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add one cup at a time and beat well.
- Add vanilla and beat well.
- Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes. I put aluminum foil around my pan so the crust won't get too dark. Also the last 20-30 minutes I lay foil over top to prevent the crust from being too dark.
- Alow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan.
- Enjoy.

Why Use Sweetened Condensed Milk?
Sweetened condensed milk is a thick, sticky, and sweet liquid that is made by evaporating water from the milk and adding sugar. It is often used as a substitute for regular milk in recipes that require a sweet and creamy texture. Sweetened condensed milk has a unique flavor that is similar to caramel and butterscotch, which can add depth and richness to your bundt cake glaze. One of the advantages of using sweetened condensed milk as a glaze is that it is easy to work with. Unlike powdered sugar glazes, which can be too runny or too thick, sweetened condensed milk glazes have a consistency that can be easily adjusted with the addition of more liquid or sugar. Sweetened condensed milk is also versatile and can be flavored with a variety of extracts, spices, and fruit juices to suit your taste.Alternative Sweetened Condensed Milk Bundt Cake Glaze Recipes

1. Choose the right flavorings
When making a glaze with sweetened condensed milk, it is essential to use the right flavorings to complement the sweetness of the milk. Vanilla, almond, and lemon are popular choices that work well in sweetened condensed milk glazes. Other options include maple, coconut, or even coffee for a more unique taste.2. Add spices for depth of flavor
Spices, like cinnamon or nutmeg, can add depth to the flavor of the glaze. Using spices also helps to balance out the sweetness of the milk, creating a more complex taste.3. Adjust the consistency
The consistency of the glaze can make or break the finished product. If the glaze is too thick, it will not spread evenly on the cake, and if it is too thin, it will not hold its shape. To adjust the consistency of the glaze, add more sweetened condensed milk or powdered sugar until you achieve the desired thickness.4. Choose the right temperature
The temperature of the glaze can also affect its consistency. If the glaze is too cold, it will be too thick to spread correctly. On the other hand, if the glaze is too warm, it will become watery and runny. It is best to let the glaze cool to room temperature before applying it to the cake.5. Use the right tools
To apply the glaze, use a spoon or a whisk to create a smooth consistency. For a more decorative look, use a piping bag or squeeze bottle to drizzle the glaze over the cake. To prevent a mess, place the cake on a wire rack or over a sheet of parchment paper to catch any drips.Alternative Sweetened Condensed Milk Glaze Recipes
