1 pound ground beef
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups 1% cottage cheese
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 uncooked lasagna noodles
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup water

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe dish, microwave beef on high for 3 minutes; stir. Cook 2 minutes longer or until no longer pink; drain well. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, basil and garlic powder; cover and microwave for 2 minutes or until heated through. Set aside. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, parsley, egg and pepper., Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in a greased microwave-safe 11x7-in. dish. Layer with 3 noodles, half the cottage cheese mixture, half the remaining meat sauce and 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Layer remaining noodles, cottage cheese mixture and meat sauce. Pour water along edges of casserole on short sides of dish. , Cover with plastic wrap; microwave on high for 20 minutes or until noodles are tender, rotating dish after 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and heat for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

6 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 lb ground turkey italian sausage
1 large jar favorite spaghetti sauce
3 Tbsp snipped fresh basil
2 Tbsp snipped fresh oregano
2 c cottage cheese
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
4 slice provolone cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Brown sausage well in large skillet. Pour off any fat. Stir in the Prego sauce and 3-4 tablespoons snipped fresh herbs, such as basil and oregano. Simmer 10 minutes.
  • 2. Spread 1 cup of sauce in the bottom of an 8x12-inch DEEP microwave-safe baking dish. Lay 3 lasagna noodles evenly over top.
  • 3. Spoon half the cottage cheese over noodles, and top with half the remaining sauce.

1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c water
6 oz tomato paste
14 oz tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp italian seasing
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 lb ricotta cheese, part skim (you can use all ricotta and skip the cottage cheese if desired)
1/2 lb cottage cheese
1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
1/2 lb lasagna noodles, cooked
1/2 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

  • 1. Place beef and garlic in 2 quart casserole.
  • 2. Cook, covered on full power 4 to 5 1/2 minutes. Stir 1/2 way through time. Drain.
