AAA BARS
This recipe came from a friend of my stepmom's in NC. She sent some over when we came to visit with my daughter when she was 8. It was such a huge hit, my stepmom made it for several year for her. Which says how amazing this treat is, since she never cooks or bakes! I was always the baker at home!

Steps:
- Mix butter, brown sugar and egg yolk, then add flour and vanilla. Place mixture into an 11x16 baking pan/cookie sheet and pat down so it covers the entire pan. Spray with PAM 1st if you want. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 min or until top is light brown.
- While baking, melt chips on stove and spread over hot "cake". Sprinkle nuts on top of the chocolate. Cut into small squares in pan while still warm. Cover and put in fridge to harden. Later take out of fridge and "put them in whatever". They freeze beautifully.
