Sausage, Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bundt Cake image

A delicious breakfast meal rolled into a single cake! Very easy to make and tastes amazing. Nearly every ingredient can be substituted with an alternatively flavored or spicy version to make this a very versatile recipe. This recipe is from a good friend of mine with whom I work. Thanks April!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb sausage
1/2 lb bacon
2 cups Mexican blend cheese
1 (16 1/3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
1 (8 ounce) can green chilies
1/4 cup salsa
1/2 cup onion
9 eggs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Brown sausage and cook bacon, quarter biscuits, and dice onion.
  • Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl.
  • Spray a large bundt pan with nonstick spray and pour in mixture.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • Cool at least 5 minutes before attempting to remove from pan.
  • Slice and serve immediately, or take it to the office!

18 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls , thawed but still cold
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup fresh thyme, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pound sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained

Steps:

  • Flatten each roll into a 4-inch circle. Place butter in a shallow bowl. Combine herbs and cheese and place in another shallow bowl. Coat each dough circle with butter and then with cheese mixture. Arrange 6 dough circles evenly in a large sprayed bundt pan, to cover the bottom. Circles will overlap. Sprinkle half the cooked sausage over dough. Repeat with 6 more dough circles and the remaining sausage. Add last 6 dough circles to the top to cover sausage. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until almost double.Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes. Cover with foil last 10 minutes of baking. Remove from oven and invert onto serving platter.

Ziti is layered with sausage, ricotta, mozzarella and tomato sauce, then baked until bubbling.

1 (16 ounce) package ziti pasta
1 pound mild Italian sausage, casings removed
2 (24 ounce) jars Classico® Tomato and Basil Sauce
1 ½ teaspoons dried basil, divided
12 ounces ricotta cheese
1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning, divided
1 dash salt and pepper
1 pound mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside. In a large saucepan, heat pasta sauce with 1 teaspoon basil until bubbling. In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  • Spread bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with sauce. Layer 1/2 of the ziti, 1/2, the sausage, 1/2 of the ricotta, and 1/2 the mozzarella. Spoon half of the sauce over top. Repeat layers. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 teaspoons basil and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
