2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 medium peach, peeled and finely chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
Tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Mash avocados with lime juice, salt, cumin and pepper. Gently stir in peach, jalapeno and red onion. Serve with tortilla chips.

1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped

  • Mash the avocados with a fork and combine with the red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.

1 cup chopped tomatoes
¼ cup chopped onion

1 avocado, peeled and pitted
1 cup Jalapeno-Mango Salsa, recipe follows
1/3 cup peeled and diced jicama
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Tortilla chips, for serving
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 whole jalapeno chiles
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 mangoes, peeled, pitted and diced
1 lime, juiced
1/4 large red onion, minced
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

Steps:

  • Mash the avocado in a medium bowl. Mix in the Jalapeno-Mango Salsa and jicama. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with homemade or purchased tortilla chips.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a small saute pan over medium-high heat. Lightly fry the jalapeno chiles, turning them in the pan until their skins are blistered, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool. Once cooled, stem, seed and finely chop the jalapeno chiles and place them into a large mixing bowl. Add the cilantro, mangoes, lime juice and onions and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately or store the salsa in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Super simple fresh & spicy guac that you can make the night before an event. Keeps really well for 1 night! I made this one based on things my boyfriend likes and it's a winner!

4 avocados
2 jalapenos
1 tablespoon onion
1 lime
garlic powder
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • In a large bowl add AVOCADOS halved & peeled, JALAPEÑOS quartered & chopped, ONION chopped. Quarter LIME & squeeze 3 LIME quarters over ingredients. Add GARLIC POWDER, SALT & PEPPER to taste. Mix until all ingredients are blended. Don't mix too long; it's good to have some texture and larger bits of AVOCADO. Transfer into a smaller bowl. Squeeze remaining quarter of lime over top of guac to cover any part exposed to air. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.
  • Enjoy with chips and share!
