This variation has a bit more tang then the traditional candied kielbasa I have come across. I have doubled it each time I have made it as it goes fast!

1/4 cup(s) ketchup
1/4 cup(s) chili sauce
1/4 cup(s) horseradish
2 pound(s) kielbasa

Steps:

  • Slice kielbasa on an angle. Sauté to release some of the natural juices.
  • Combine ingredients. Add the sausage, and mix well.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until sauce thickens, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Note: I have baked in a crock pot. Place on high till good and hot then turn down to low for four hours. I believe the sauce coats better in an oven.

WEB PHOTO I just saw this on All Recipes.com, but it is a recipe I have used many times over the years. A wonderful savory sweet appetizer - and too easy not to make for parties.
