- Preheat oven to 350°F. Trim fat from chops. Combine juice and next 4 ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Combine breadcrumbs, italian seasoning, paprika, and dash of garlic powder in shallow dish; stir well. Dip chops in juice mixture and dredge in breadcrumb mixture. Place chops on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until tender, turning after 25 minutes. Yield 4 servings. 5 ww pts per serving.
FABULOUS OVEN-FRIED PORK CHOPS
This is my husband's favorite way to have pork chops. They are always tender and juicy and taste wonderful. You can adjust the seasonings by adding, omitting, or substituting to your taste. Most of the time the only seasoning I use is plain salt and pepper.

- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Rinse pork chops and shake off excess water. Sprinkle desired seasonings on both sides and dredge in flour.
- 2. Add butter or margarine and vegetable oil to a shallow baking pan. Heat in the oven just until butter is melted. Take care not to overheat.
- 3. Tilt the pan to make sure the liquids cover the entire bottom. Arrange the floured chops in the pan.
- 4. Bake for 20 minutes.
- 5. Remove the pan from the oven. Lightly spray the upper side of the chops with baking spray.
- 6. Turn chops over.
- 7. Continue baking for 20 more minutes until golden brown.

- Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a shallow baking pan with foil. Rinse pork chops and shake to dry. You want to leave just a little dampness on the chops. Sprinkle the pork chops on both sides with garlic salt, black pepper, and red pepper. Rub the seasonings into the meat. Shake the seasoned chops in flour. Set the chops on a plate to rest. Pour the melted butter in the baking pan and tilt the pan to make sure the entire cooking surface is coated with melted butter. Shake the pork chops in the flour again. Arrange the chops in the baking pan and bake for 20 minutes. Remove pan from oven and spray the upturned side of the chops with baking spray. Turn chops over and continue to bake pork chops for about 20 more minutes, or until meat is no longer pink.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Beat soy sauce, egg, water, garlic powder, and ginger together in a shallow bowl. Spread bread crumbs into a separate shallow bowl. Dip pork chops in the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. Press pork chops into the bread crumbs until evenly coated on both sides. Place coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
