Steps:

  • Rub the rim of 4 rocks glasses with lime; dip in coarse salt. Fill three-quarters of the way with ice. Combine 1 cup tequila, 2/3 cup fresh lime juice, 1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur and 2 teaspoons superfine sugar in a cocktail shaker. Shake well, then pour into the glasses. Garnish with lime.

This is the best batch of margaritas you'll ever make. Everybody wants the recipe after consuming one of these.

2 cups sweet and sour mix
1 cup triple sec
1 ½ cups gold tequila
⅓ cup brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
2 limes, quartered

Steps:

  • Salt the rims of 8 glasses. To do so, pour salt onto a small plate, rub the rims of the glasses with lime, and press them into the salt. Fill the glasses with ice.
  • In a blender, combine sweet and sour mix, triple sec, tequila and Grand Marnier. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, squeeze a quarter lime into each glass, and serve.

A perfect, goof-proof margarita. Use your limeade can as your measuring cup. It's so much easier, less messy, and the recipe can then be adjusted if you buy a different size than I have listed.

12 ounces frozen limeade concentrate (1 can)
12 ounces tequila (1 can)
4 ounces triple sec (1/3 of a can)
36 ounces water (3 cans)
2 sliced limes

Steps:

  • For Margaritas on the Rocks: Combine all ingredients together in a large pitcher, and stir well.
  • Or for frozen: omit limes, combine in a large plastic container and freeze.
  • These make the perfect slushy margarita.
  • Just let it sit out for a few minutes before serving, and then scoop into glasses with an ice cream scoop.
