PICO DE GALLO

Pico de Gallo image

This easy pico de gallo recipe is a classic for good reason. It pairs with just about everything! My tip is to let it chill for an hour or two before serving to help the flavors blend. Also, it's best to serve it the same day that it's made. -Jeannie Trudell, Del Norte, Colorado

  • sprinkle about 1 tbsp of garlic powder over mixture and then add a touch of jalepeno salt for added flavor.
  • mixture should look to be equal parts ingredients. Look at color - red and green should be even. Can never have too much cilantro, so if it looks like more needs to be added - add it.
