Whatever the occasion, this drink is a fresh beverage crowd pleaser. Without a doubt, my press juicer gets a workout when friends and family come over. Just give it a try!

2 cups ice cubes, or as needed
2 fluid ounces orange-flavored vodka
1 fluid ounce triple sec liqueur
2 Valencia oranges, juiced
1 splash lemon-lime soda (such as SpriteĀ®)
1 slice orange

Steps:

  • Fill a pint glass with ice cubes. Pour orange-flavored vodka, triple sec, and orange juice over ice; top with lemon-lime soda. Mix well and garnish with orange slice.

1 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 piece fresh orange peel (2-by-1-inch)
3 cups vodka

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, heat cranberries, sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves, the liquid begins to turn a light-pink color, and the cranberries just begin to pop. Pour the cranberries and the liquid into a large glass jar; stir in peel and vodka. Cover, and let stand at room temperature at least 3 days or up to one month. Strain before serving.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 cups freshly-squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
6 to 8 ounces vodka, cold
Orange-flavored club soda, cold, to top
4 to 6 orange slices, for garnish

Steps:

  • Combine the orange juice and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook until reduced to 1 cup. Add the Grand Marnier and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate. (The orange syrup can be made up to 1 week in advance and stored in the refrigerator.)
  • In each of 4 to 6 rocks glasses, stir together 2 tablespoons of the cold orange syrup and a shot of vodka. Add a scoop of ice and top off with club soda. Float a slice of orange on top of each drink and serve.

Steps:

  • You'll need 1 bottle (750 ml) vodka, 80 orange Skittles (from a 14-ounce bag) and a 7-ounce package of quality soft black licorice. Divide the vodka between two large glass jars; add the Skittles to one, then cut the licorice into smaller pieces and add to the other jar. Let the Skittles infuse for 1 day, then strain through a sieve lined with a coffee filter (it will take several hours to strain). Let the licorice infuse for 2 to 3 days, then strain. Serve the vodka on the rocks with candy garnishes.
