COUNTRY HAM CHEESE BALL
This is very similiar to one offered by one of the local grocery stores here. Except they charge you almost $10.00 for it. Our family always makes an assortment of "finger foods" for our get-togethers. This is a good choice for grazing at a party! Please note that the prep/cook time does not include refrigeration time.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients, except almonds, in a large bowl.
- Form into a large ball, or two smaller balls, if you prefer.
- Pour the almonds into a pie plate, or onto a dinner plate.
- Roll the ball(s) in the almonds to coat.
- Place into a bowl or on a plate and refrigerate until firm.
VIRGINIA HAM AND CHEESE BALLS

- In a large bowl, combine ground ham, cream cheese, hot sauce and mustard until well blended. Roll into a ball and then roll in chopped peanuts. Garnish with cherry on top of ball. Serve on cheeseboard with crackers.

- In bowl beat cream cheese, sour cream and soup mix until smooth.
- Stir in ham and cheese.
- Form into a ball.
- Refrigerate.
- You may roll in chopped nuts before serving, if desired.

- Place ham and onion in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. Add cheddar cheese; pulse until blended. Add cream cheese; process until smooth., Shape cheese mixture into a football; press pecans into cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour., Cut Swiss cheese into strips; arrange over top for laces. Serve with crackers.
