BEST VEGEMITE SANDWICHES
These are a real tradition from when I was growing up. I would always have this in my lunchbox or when I went round to my uncles, it is best served on soft white bread

Steps:
- butter bread, if you find the taste of vegemite too strong.
- spread with vegemite to your desire.
- get as many potato chips on as possible.
- put a piece of bread on top of that.
- press down to crunch the chips and let them break.
- cut into 4 squares and serve.

Very good and very tasty. Deli fresh meat, fresh garden tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh toasted bread with crisp bacon with a touch of basil and a touch of Miracle Whip topped with a slice of cheese--a sandwich lover's dream come true.

Steps:
- Cook bacon.
- Toast bread.
- Spread Miracle Whip on toast slices.
- Sprinkle a little dried basil on the Miracle Whip on the toast slices.
- On the first slice of toast add the chicken breast slices; add lettuce on top of chicken.
- Add second piece of toast with the Miracle Whip side up; add bacon slices, add cheese slice, and add more lettuce. Top with tomatoes.
- Put third slice toast Miracle Whip side down.
- Cut sandwich in half; serve and enjoy.

MADONNA'S TRIPLE DECKER REUBEN SANDWICH
This is from Chef Madonna L. Berry. Many of the fabulous Inns located in New England feature classic dishes. One of those quintessential dishes is the Reuben Sandwich. Try this variation.

Steps:
- Butter 1 side of 1 slice bread. Place the buttered side down on waxed paper.
- Spread 1 T. of the thousand island dressing on the bread.
- Place 1/2 of the swiss cheese on the dressing.
- Top with sauerkraut and 1/2 of the corned beef.
- Spread 1 T. thousand island dressing on both sides of the toast.
- Place on top of the corned beef.
- Press lightly.
- Next layer the remaining corned beef, coleslaw, and the cheese.
- Top with last piece of rye bread.
- Butter the top.
- Lightly press the sandwich together.
- Heat a pan and grill until golden brown on both sides.
- To serve: Slice the sandwich on the diagonal. Enjoy!
TRIPLE DECKER GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH
Did you ever eat a grilled cheese sandwich and wish you had made a little more? This solves that problem...using three slices of bread. I also like to add cooked bacon slices and thin sliced tomato to this.
