1 lb hamburger
1 (15 ounce) can chili beans
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
1 (46 ounce) jar spicy hot V8
1 teaspoon garlic
1 tablespoon chili powder
cayenne pepper
shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Steps:

  • Brown hamburger and garlic.
  • Drain hamburger and add to crockpot.
  • While hamburger is browning, put can of chili beans, kidney beans, and V8 into crock pot.
  • Add chili powder.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours.
  • before serving, add cayenne.
  • Shredded cheddar for topping.

2 - 16- ounce cans chili beans
1 - 10- ounce can diced tomatoes with chilies
1 - packet chili seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade chili seasoning

Steps:

  • In a large pot, brown ground beef and onion until cooked through.
  • Add the V8, chili beans, diced tomatoes, and chili seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Cook chili over medium heat until the mixture begins to boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream.

30 ounce(s) stewed tomatoes (2 cans) not drained
1 white onion
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
2.50 ounce(s) chili seasoning packets (2 packets)
30 ounce(s) kidney beans, canned (2 cans) - drained and rinsed
64 ounce(s) v8 juice original
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper

Steps:

  • In a large skillet on the stove top, add the ground beef. Brown and drain.
  • Add the stewed tomatoes to the slow cooker.
  • Add the ground beef to the slow cooker along with the onion, garlic powder, pepper, chili seasoning packets, drained kidney beans, and V8 juice.
  • Stir and cover. Cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.

1 medium onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup water
1 cup V8 juice
1/4 cup brewed coffee
2 envelopes chili seasoning
1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
1 can (15 ounces) Ranch Style beans (pinto beans in seasoned tomato sauce)
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. Stir in the tomatoes, water, juice, coffee and chili seasoning., Transfer to a 4-qt. slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours to allow flavors to blend.

1 (46 fluid ounce) can tomato juice
1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 ½ cups chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
⅛ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
¼ cup chili powder

Steps:

  • Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and crumble.
  • In a large pot over high heat combine the ground beef, tomato juice, tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, onions, bell pepper, cayenne pepper, sugar, oregano, ground black pepper, salt, cumin and chili powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. (Note: If using a slow cooker, set on low, add ingredients, and cook for 8 to 10 hours.)

2 lbs ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
2 T. chili powder
1/2 t. ground cumin
3 1/2 c V8 Vegetable Juice
1 sm green pepper, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
2 15 oz cans red kidney beans (rinsed and drained)

Steps:

  • Cook the turkey, onion, chili powder and cumin in a 4-quart soucepan over medium-high heat until the turkey is well browned, stirring often. Add the V8, pepper nad beans to the saucepan and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
