1 (9 ounce) can bumble bee tuna in vegetable oil or 1 (9 ounce) can tuna in water, drained
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
granulated garlic
black salt
pepper
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 stalk celery, chopped nicely
1 small diced white onion
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
4 slices bread or 2 pita breads

Steps:

  • Mix tuna with dry spices
  • Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Mix in mayonnaise and mustard.
  • Mix in celery and bread crumbs until well mixed.
  • Add in diced onion and mix well.
  • Add to bread as sandwich filling or stuff into pita.
  • Also good on top of a crisp lettuce bed salad with parsley sprinkled on top.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 (6 ounce) cans low-sodium tuna in water
1/4 teaspoon Braggs liquid aminos
3 tablespoons Hellmann's mayonnaise
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
4 leaves red leaf lettuce
8 slices tomatoes
alfalfa sprout
8 slices whole grain bread

Steps:

  • Drain tuna using a strainer and cheesecloth. Make sure all excess liquid is drained. Place in medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Mix Mayo and Bragg's together, add to tuna.
  • Add veggies, and combine well with fork.
  • Place on bread, top with sprouts, lettuce and tomato.
  • note: if you don't have Bragg's liquid Aminos, soy sauce or tamari will suffice.
