2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 bottle ketchup
1 dash salt and pepper
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cans pork and beans, drained

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and onion; drain.
  • Remove from heat; Add all other ingredients and stir well.
  • Place in a casserole dish and bake, covered, at 325 for 45 minutes.

This recipie was given to me by my great aunt, she made it when she visited us and it was very yummy, and filling. A very good one-pot meal.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans or 1 (16 ounce) can baked beans
3/4 cup barbecue sauce, any brand
2 tablespoons brown sugar (or brown sugar & splenda)
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Brown beef in oil.
  • Drain excess grease.
  • Add salt, pork and beans (or baked beans), barbeque sauce, and brown sugar (or brown sugar/splenda blend).
  • Heat until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Spoon mixture into a large greased casserole dish.
  • Cut biscuits into halves and arrange in casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of casserole.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

1 (28 ounce) can country style bush's baked beans
1 (15 ounce) can lima beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans, drained
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 onion, chopped
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice or 1/3 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
2 tablespoons molasses

Steps:

  • Brown bacon until done. Crumble and set aside.
  • Brown hamburger with onion. Drain.
  • Drain and rinse all beans EXCEPT baked beans.
  • Place all ingredients in crock pot on low for at least 2 hours OR place all ingredients in oven-safe bowl/dish uncovered in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (16 ounce) can baked beans
1 (16 ounce) can green beans, drained
1 (16 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/4 cup catsup
3 slices bacon, cut into 1-in . pieces

Steps:

  • Cook onion and hamburger on high in a large frying pan until pinkness disappears.
  • Stir in flour, salt, basil, oregano and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  • Stir in the baked bean, the green beans, garbanzo beans, mustard and catsup.
  • Turn into a 2-quart casserole.
  • Add bacon to frying pan and cook until crisp. Drain well and crumble over meat and beans in casserole.
  • Bake at375° for 35-40 minute or until casserole bubbles and is heated through.
  • Add a salad and crisp bread to round out the meal.
