TOP SHELF SPARKLING MARGARITA JELL-O®

Top Shelf Sparkling Margarita Jell-O® image

For grown-ups only. This recipe is my closest attempt at duplicating the awesome flavor of a cold margarita. It's sweet, tart, salty, and packs a punch. Garnish each serving with a lime wedge. You seriously only need one of these.

Yield 2 large glasses

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 can frozen limeade
4oz gold tequila
1oz Cointreau
1oz Grand Marnier
squeeze of orange
ice

Steps:

  • Blend frozen limeade, tequila, Cointreau, and Grand Marnier, and squeeze of orange until mixed (about 30 seconds). Add 10+ cubes of ice and blend until desired consistency. Serve with a lime wedge and straw, about 2-3 servings. Note: You can leave a little residual in the blender, then throw in a couple strawberries, blend, and then "dot" each for extra color & flavor (as seen at "Chuy's" in Houston).
