1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 (10 ounce) package Skor English toffee bits (English toffee bits)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended.
  • Add eggs and blend thoroughly.
  • Gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
  • Stir in toffee bits.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet (I used ungreased parchment paper).
  • Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool slightly, remove from the cookie sheet to a wire rack.
  • Cool completely.

1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 package (8 ounces) milk chocolate English toffee bits, divided
1 graham cracker crust (9 inches)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in cream until blended. Fold in whipped topping and 1 cup toffee bits. , Spoon into crust; sprinkle with remaining toffee bits. Cover and freeze overnight. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

The last time I had these was about two years ago. I was going through my recipe box and found the card. Figured that maybe someone would like to try them. The recipe is from my sister-in-laws daughter.

2 1/4 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c butter or margarine soft
3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 c packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 3/4 c skor english toffee bits (10 oz pkg)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet(s).
  • 2. In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
  • 3. In a large bowl beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended. Stir in toffee bits.
  • 4. Drop by rounded tsp onto prepared cookie sheet.
  • 5. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly brown.
  • 6. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
  • 7. Cool completely.

1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups chipits skor toffee pieces, divided
2 cups chipits, semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F Line a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter with brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla until creamy.
  • Stir in flour and 1 cup of the toffee bits until well combined. Press dough evenly into prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until light brown; transfer pan to a cooling rack. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips over the hot cookie base. Let stand for 5 minutes or until chocolate is softened. Spread chocolate evenly over the base; sprinkle remaining toffee bits evenly over chocolate. Cool until chocolate is set, about 2-3 hours. 1-8 oz pkg softened cream cheese
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 c half & half
1-8 oz container of whipped topping
1 1/4 c toffee bits, or candy of your choice (butterfingers workd great too!)

Steps:

  • 1. Beat together cream cheese and sugar till smooth.
  • 2. Blend in Half & Half till combined.
  • 3. FOLD in whipped topping, then fold in 1 cup toffee bits.
  • 4. Pour or scoop mixture into graham crust. Sprinkle with remaining toffee.
  • 5. Cover and freeze overnight. This can be frozen and stored in your freezer for up to 1 month!

1/2 cup chilled heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup coarsely crushed toffee candy (such as Skor, Heath bar, or Almond Roca)

Steps:

  • Whisk sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt in heavy medium saucepan until blended. Gradually add 1/4 cup milk, whisking until cornstarch is dissolved. Whisk in remaining 1 3/4 cups milk. Whisk over medium-high heat until mixture thickens and comes to boil, about 6 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and cook 1 minute longer, whisking occasionally. Remove from heat; add chocolate. Let stand 1 minute, then whisk until melted and smooth.
  • Transfer gelato base to medium bowl. Mix in cream. Place bowl over large bowl filled with ice and water and cool, stirring often, about 30 minutes.
