Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can (3 ounces) tuna, drained
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Coarse salt and ground pepper
16 small crackers
1/4 cup shredded cheddar

Steps:

  • Stir together tuna, drained, mayonnaise, and fresh lemon juice. Season with coarse salt and ground pepper.
  • Heat broiler of toaster oven (or oven). On a foil-lined baking sheet, arrange crackers. Top with tuna mixture and shredded cheddar. Broil until cheese has melted, 2 to 3 minutes.

Great for parties or the family to munch on! Easy too! Yum! Got this from a box of Ritz whole wheat crackers.

Yield 4 dozen melts

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (6 ounce) can solid white tuna packed in water, drained, flaked
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
48 whole wheat crackers (Ritz round crackers)
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Mix tuna, mayonnaise and celery until well blended.
  • Top each cracker with 1 teaspoon of the tuna mixture.
  • Sprinkle top with 1/2 teaspoon of cheese.
  • Place 6 topped crackers on microwaveable plate.
  • Microwave on HIGH 15 seconds or until topping is heated through and cheese is melted.
  • Or place all the topped crackers on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes to heat through.
  • Sprinkle top of crackers with black pepper.
  • Repeat with the remaining topped crackers if using microwave.
  • Enjoy!

1 can (6 oz.) white tuna in water, drained, flaked
1/4 cup KRAFT Light Mayo
1/4 cup chopped celery
48 round buttery crackers with whole wheat
1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Mix tuna, mayo and celery until well blended. Top each cracker with 1 tsp. of the tuna mixture; sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. of the cheese.
  • Place 6 topped crackers on microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 15 sec. or until topping is heated through and cheese is melted.
  • Repeat with the remaining topped crackers.
