2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
4 tablespoons fat free French vanilla liquid coffee creamer
3 -4 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until incorporated.
  • Pour into a tall, clear glass.
  • In a minute or two, the liquid will separate into three distinct layers - a light coffee "fizz" on top, the coffee layer next, and a dark chocolate layer on the bottom.
  • Beautiful, delicious, creamy and fat-free!

2 cups coffee (, cooled)
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tablespoon sugar or sugar substitute*
2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
4 cups ice
¼ cup whipped cream
Cacao nibs or shaved chocolate (, for garnish)

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, cooled coffee, almond milk, sweetener, vanilla frozen yogurt and ice into a blender.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Transfer to two serving cups.
  • Top with whipped cream and cacao nibs or shaved chocolate.

I found this recipe in one of my mom's old cookbooks years ago....before iced coffee drinks became popular.

2 Tbsp instant coffee granules*
1/4 c boiling water*
1/4 c honey
1 cinnamon stick (3
3/4 c cold water
1 qt milk, 2%
ice cubes
cinnamon sticks, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. In a pitcher or tall container, dissolve the coffee granules in the boiling water. Add the honey and mix well. Add the cinnamon stick; stir in the cold water and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • 2. For Cooler: Fill four (12 oz) glasses with ice cubes. Add 1/4 c. of the coffee mixture and fill glass with milk. Garnish with a long cinnamon stick, if desired. * Substitute 1/4 cup extra-strong brewed coffee, instead of the instant coffee and boiling water, for a stronger coffee flavor.

6 tablespoons ground millstone caramel truffle coffee
1 cup 2% low-fat milk
1 1/2 tablespoons Splenda sugar substitute
1 -2 tablespoon caramel sauce (I use Smucker's)

Steps:

  • Brew the coffee in a drip coffee machine, filling the coffee pot with water up to the 3 cup line.
  • Brew twice.
  • Let cool and freeze in an ice cube tray.
  • Blend 3-4 coffee ice cubes and remaining ingredients in a blender until thick and frothy and all ice cubes have been incorporated.
  • If you add 4 coffee ice cubes and 2 tbsp. of caramel sauce, it is *even better* IMO.
  • Enjoy, this is my favorite coffee drink to date.

2/3 cup instant coffee (dry)
1 1/2 cups hazelnut-flavored nondairy liquid creamer
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 cups milk
Whipped cream, if desired
Ground cinnamon, if desired

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, mix coffee, creamer, water and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, stirring until coffee is dissolved.
  • Pour into 2 ice-cube trays. Freeze at least 3 hours or until hardened. Transfer cubes to plastic storage container or bag.
  • For each serving, place 2 coffee cubes, 2/3 cup milk and 4 water ice cubes in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 20 seconds or until blended and slightly slushy. Pour into glass. Top with dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of cinnamon.
