This is an old recipe, easy and kids usually like it. If you like, add green beans over the hamburger and skip the onion rings if desired.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet cook ground beef with onion, salt and pepper; drain and spread into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add tater tots; mix cream of mushroom and cream of celery soup together and pour mixture over dish. Top with onion rings, if using.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.

EASY TATER TOT HOT DISH
This is our family version of tater tot hot dish. It's a quick, easy, and wonderful comfort food! You can also use another 1/2 can of cream of chicken soup and mix it in with the beef mixture. You can also put different veggies in, like carrots or green beans.

- Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- Mix the ground beef, onion, and egg together in a bowl; spread evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange the tater tots over the beef mixture. Pour the chicken soup over the tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the beef is cooked through and has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C), about 1 hour.

TATER TOT SAUERKRAUT HOT DISH
I got this recipe from my sister -in-law. She makes her own sauerkraut which of course is 100 times better than the can stuff. This is a great potluck recipe.

Steps:
- Brown the hamburger. Drain the fat.
- Mix cream of mushroom soup and water together. Add this to pan with hamburger and mix well.
- Put kraut in a large casserole dish. Pour hamburger mixture over kraut and mix well. Place tater tots on top.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minute or until the tater tots are nice and brown.
- Mixture will be runny the first day but thickens up each time you reheat it.

- Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
- Place 6 frozen mini Tater Tots™ in each muffin cup; bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven; cool 5 minutes. Using 2 paper towels, press Tater Tots™ into cups to create a base for the hot dish and to absorb excess oil.
- Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix milk and egg. Stir in cheese; set aside.
- In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 6 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned; drain. Remove from skillet; set aside. Wipe out skillet. Add mushrooms and steak seasoning to dry skillet; cook over medium-high heat 6 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned. Remove from heat; cool 2 minutes.
- Add beef and mushrooms to cheese mixture. Pour evenly over potatoes in each muffin cup.
- Top each cup with 6 more Tater Tots™. Place muffin tin on large rimmed cookie sheet. Bake 32 to 34 minutes or until mixture is set and Tater Tots™ are browned. Cool 15 minutes; run knife around each muffin cup, and lift out.
- In small bowl, mix ketchup and Sriracha sauce; serve with hot dish cups.

- Add corn.
- Mix soup, milk, 2/3 cup of cheese and pepper. Add to beef.
- Place in a glass dish to bake.

- Crumble beef and salt into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add chopped onion; sprinkle oats on top. In a small bowl, combine the soup and milk and pour mixture over meat mixture. Top all with tater tots, placing them close together.

TATER TOT HOT DISH
Steps:
- Bring chicken stock to a boil, remove from heat and add mushrooms. Allow them to steep 15 minutes to re-hydrate. In a pan, saute 1/2 chopped onion, chopped celery heart and minced garlic with Olive Oil until vegetables are softened. Add mushrooms and 1 Tbsp butter. Continue to cook for 5 minutes. Place cooked vegetables and chicken stock in a blender and blend until smooth. Return to pan, add milk and continue to simmer. Pre-bake tater tots at 425 degrees for 15 minutes until they begin to crisp but are not fully browned. In a separate sauce pan, melt remaining butter and saute remaining onion for 5 minutes. Slowly sprinkle flour over mixture to make a rue and continue to cook until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Ladle a few scoops of the warm puree liquid into the rue and stir vigorously until smooth. Add mixture to remaining vegetable pure and continue to cook until mixture is thickened. Brown Turkey with Worcestershire and steak sauce. Add to sauce. Defrost frozen veggies and add to sauce. Heat through. Pour sauce mixture into a large lasagna pan or baking pan. Cover mixture with pre-cooked tater tots and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until tater tots are fully browned and mixture is bubbly.

This recipe is supposedly a personal recipe of Andrew Zimmern, host of the TV show Bizarre Foods. Rishia is his wife.

Steps:
- Over medium-high heat, brown beef, turkey and onions together in a large casserole pot. Season the meat while it's browning.
- When cooked and nicely browned and the juices have collected and evaporated, pull from heat. Remove meat from casserole pot.
- Place beans at the bottom of the casserole pot. Season. Put meat over the beans. Pour condensed soup over meat. Add Tots as the final layer.
- Bake in center of 400 degree F oven with the lid on for 25 minutes. Remove lid and bake for 20 minutes until the tots are well crisped. Let cool for 10 minutes and serve.
