I whipped this together for my wife one night and she keeps asking for it! It's a simple dish to make. The tamari and almonds go great with the green beans. I do not like green beans, but tend to enjoy a couple sometimes.

1 (16 ounce) package frozen French-cut green beans
⅓ cup almonds
¼ cup tamari

Steps:

  • Lightly spray a skillet with cooking spray and set over medium heat. Place the green beans in the skillet; cook and stir until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Add the almonds and tamari. Continue to cook and stir until the green beans are lightly browned.

I love the flavor of Tamari, almonds & beans. This is a simple recipe. I love my beans crisp but cook longer if you like them well done.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 cups green beans, frenched,steamed for 7 minutes
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely minced
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup almonds, slivered
3 tablespoons tamari soy sauce

Steps:

  • Saute the onions& garlic in the butter for 5 minutes.
  • Add almonds, mix and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
  • Add cooked beans& Tamari sauce.
  • Mix well and continue cooking until the beans are heated through.
  • Serve hot.
