SWEET TARTAR SAUCE
Only 4 ingredients. Since I'm the only one who eats tartar sauce in my house, I just make this small amount at a time, but recipe can easily be doubled. I've been told that I like my tartar sauce sweeter than most, so this recipe probably isn't for everyone.

TARTAR SAUCE
A classic tartar sauce is a welcome addition to any cook's repertoire. Garlic, shallot, capers, tart cornichons with their juices are blended together with mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon and parsley. It's ready in minutes, and a pleasing side for just about any fish dish.

- In a food processor, purée the garlic and salt. Add shallot, capers, cornichons and their juices and pulse a few times. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice and parsley, and pulse. Season with salt and pepper.

Simple tartar sauce for deep fried seafood. It is better if prepared several hours before you will be using it, but it can be used immediately. Store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
