1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
4 eggs beaten
1 c oil
1 1/2 c self-rising flour
1 tsp vanilla
2 c pecans, finely chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • 2. Using a wooden spoon stir together sugar, brown sugar, eggs and oil in a medium bowl until smooth.
  • 3. Stir in flour and vanilla. Add pecans, then stir until evenly mixed.
  • 4. Spoon into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.

1 cup of brown sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 cups of chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9X13 with nonstick spray.
  • Stir together sugar, eggs, butter, and oil.
  • Mix in flour, vanilla, and pecans.
  • Bake for 30-35 min until tests done.
  • Let cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Not sure where this recipe got it's name as it is more like a cake but if you are a pecan lover, this recipe is definitely one to try. I never frost it but I guess you could. A cream cheese frosting might be good.

1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
4 large eggs, beaten
1 c canola oil
1 1/2 c self rising flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c pecans, in pieces

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 13x9 baking dish.
  • 2. In a medium bowl stir together both sugars, eggs, oil and vanilla. Stir with wooden spoon until well beaten.
  • 3. Stir in flour and mix well. Add pecans, stir to mix pecans evenly through batter. Spoon into prepared 13x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
