SUPER EASY SPICY RANCH CHEESE BALL

Steps:
- 1. Set the cream cheese bars out to soften and warm to room temperature. Once they are softened put them in a medium sized bowl.
- 2. Add the dry ranch dressing packets to the cream cheese and mix until the dressing is completely integrated into the cream cheese.
- 3. Pour about half the bottle of Hot Shot pepper blend onto a sheet of wax paper and spread it out a little. Scoop out the cheese mixture and shape it into a ball. Try to make the surface smooth and pretty for serving later. Once it is in the shape you want, role the ball in the pepper blend. Place the cheese ball on a small plate and chill until you are ready to serve it.
- 4. Serve with Triscuits, Wheat Thins or your favorite crackers. Your family will love this recipe!
HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH CHEESE BALL
I made this 13 years ago to take to a Thanksgiving dinner and my family has asked for it every year since. Good and easy.

- Mix salad dressing mix double strength (using the 1/2 mayonnaise and 1/2 cup milk).
- Blend in cream cheese with mixer.
- Gently stir in cheddar cheese.
- Form into a ball (If too soft place in freezer for a hour).
- Garnish with poppy seeds, parsley, nuts, or your choice of topping.
- Serve with crackers.

- 1. In a medium bowl, mash and stir the softened cream cheese.
- 2. Add the dressing mix and cheddar cheese and stir to combine well.
- 3. Line a bowl with plastic wrap and pour cheese mixture into the bowl. Bring the plastic wrap up around the mixture and press to provide a round shape to the cheese ball.
- 4. Refrigerate for 2 hours to firm.
- 5. When ready to serve, remove from refigerater, remove plastic wrap and roll the cheese ball in the chopped nuts to cover.
- 6. Place on your serving dish and surround with your favorite cracker variety.
MY SISTER'S SPICY CHEESE BALL
This cheese ball is always a big hit in our family. They also make a nice gift. My cousin made them smaller and gave them to her coworkers last Christmas.
