1 (7 3/4 ounce) package betty crocker suddenly salad caesar pasta mixed salad greens
1/4 cup mayonnaise or 1/4 cup salad dressing
1/4 cup milk
2 cups cubed cooked chicken or 2 cups turkey
1 medium cucumber, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
1 medium tomatoes, seeded and coarsely chopped (3/4 cup)

Steps:

  • Cook and drain contents of uncooked pasta pouch (from salad mix box) as directed on box. Drain pasta; rinse with cold water. Shake well to drain.
  • In large bowl, stir contents of seasoning & crouton blend pouch (from salad mix box), mayonnaise and milk until well blended. Stir in cooked pasta and remaining ingredients. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.

Didn't feel like cooking tonight so I went to the pantry and came up with this from stuff on the shelves. Hubby really liked it and I thought it was pretty good also. I think there are several possible additions/substitutions that could be done depending upon what is in your pantry.

1 box betty crocker suddenly pasta salad ranch/bacon flavored
1 - 13 oz can(s) premium white meat chicken
1/2 c mayonnaise
1 can(s) petite english peas
2 or 3 pinch lemon pepper, mrs. dash, etc

Steps:

  • 1. Make the pasta salad according to directions on the box.
  • 2. Drain and flake can of chicken and add to the pasta along with the drained can of peas. Mix well.
  • 3. Season to taste with Lemon Pepper and any other seasoning you prefer. Cover and chill before serving.
  • 4. To serve, arrange in the middle of a Romaine lettuce leaf with tomato quarters on the side.
