I've also cut a slice into the strawberry and put it onto a rim of my recipe #49905. You can decorate the top of a decadent chocolate cake with them.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cram
1 ts. vanilla extract
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup grand marnier
1 quart strawberries

Steps:

  • 1. Heat milk, cream and vanilla in double boiler over simmering water until hot but not boiling.
  • 2. Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Stir a small amount of the hot milk mixture into egg yolks; stir the egg yolks into the hot milk mixture gradually.
