This is a super easy, easy-on-the-budget meal. My mother made this for years, and it was always a family favorite. Great if you are pressed for time, and it tastes even better if you make it the day before and refrigerate it overnight. Serve with rice or egg noodles.

This is a recipe my whole family loves. It is very easy and so yummy with either egg noodles or rice. I have even made this while camping with great success.

Steps:
- 1. In a large electric skillet (set at 350 degrees), heat oil and red wine vinegar.
- 2. Add steak strips and cook until no longer pink.
- 3. Reduce heat to simmer (200 degrees); then add tomatoes (do not drain), soup mix, garlic, oregano, and black pepper. Cover and cook for about 1 1/2 hours until liquid is reduced and meat is very tender, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Serve over hot cooked egg noodles or rice.

- Heat olive oil in cast iron frying pan with cover over medium high heat. Brown the meat on both sides - about 3 minutes a side. Last minute add the garlic.
- Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil.
- Reduce to simmer and cook covered 1.5 hours until meat is tender.
