Blend time-saving flavored cream cheese and ready-made cheese spread with shredded Cheddar, mustard, and other flavorings for this easy appetizer.

1 jar (5 oz) sharp process cheese spread
1 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/4 cup chive and onion cream cheese (from 8-oz container)
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Fresh chives, chopped, if desired
Apple slices, celery sticks and/or assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In food processor, place all ingredients except chives and apples; process 15 to 20 seconds or until smooth. If desired, dip can be refrigerated 1 hour before serving. Sprinkle with chives. Serve dip with apples, celery and/or crackers. Refrigerate any remaining dip.

This dip has all the best ingredients I've found from various other recipes and it's my favorite by far! Serve as a dip at a party or with sour cream and jalapenos to make nachos and use it as a main course!

½ pound bulk spicy pork sausage
½ pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 (2 pound) loaf processed cheese food (such as Velveeta®), cubed
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers (such as RO*TEL®)
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble sausage and ground beef into the skillet; add the onion. Cook and stir the beef mixture until the meat is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease. Pour into a slow cooker.
  • Layer cheese food cubes atop meat mixture.
  • Blend diced tomatoes with green chile peppers in a blender until smooth; pour over the cheese cubes along with the cream of mushroom soup. Stir the mixture.
  • Cook on High, stirring occasionally until the cheese is completely melted, about 90 minutes.

2 lbs cheddar cheese
1 garlic clove (minced)
1/2 medium onion (minced)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
salt
stale beer or milk

Steps:

  • Put cheese and garlic through food grinder.
  • Add other seasonings and mix thoroughly.
  • Thin down with stale beer or milk till of desired dipping consistency.
  • Use with chips or if preferred, do not make so thin and stuff celery with it or spread on crackers.

5 tablespoons seafood cocktail sauce, to spread evenly (seafood sauce)
1 (6 ounce) can of fancy white crab meat, drained
1 dash dill
1 dash garlic powder, to taste
1 (14 1/2 ounce) box wheat thins crackers

Steps:

  • Soften cream cheese, microwave is preferred (about 10 secs).
  • Spread cream cheese evenly on a dinner-sized round plate.
  • Sprinkle a thin coating of garlic powder across cream cheese.
  • Spread cocktail sauce across cream cheese and garlic powder. Use as liberally as you wish.
  • After draining, spread crab meat across the cocktail sauce.
  • Finally, sprinkle dill on top.
  • Enjoy with Wheat Thins, or any of your favorites!
